Terms & Conditions of Sale

The Glass Code and theglasscode.com are respectively the brand and website owned by Heykon S.r.l. with registered office in Via E. De Amicis 53, 20123 Milano, Italy, henceforth "The Glass Code".
Submitting the order confirmation of the purchase formalises the successful sale and unconditional acceptance of our previously read and accepted general terms and conditions of sale.
By placing an order, you prepare to make an offer to purchase the product according to its terms and conditions. All orders are then subject to verification of availability and confirmation of the order price.

The Glass Code will not be responsible for damage or loss, direct or indirect, arising from the sale of goods and services offered on the site, including the delayed delivery of the product.
We ask you to enter an address for the delivery of your order so we may find you easily in order to avoid your parcel being returned to sender for which we will charge you the cost of the new shipment. Which is why you may want to provide a delivery address where someone will always be present, such as the workplace, a relative's home, or other. You then need to provide a contact telephone number so that the courier can contact you easily.

    Technical Information

The product information included on the site is taken from information published by the manufacturers of the goods themselves.

If you need an invoice, we ask that you request it when you order, providing full details of the purchase. With the acceptance of the order you also agree to the invoice being sent electronically.

Indirect electronic commerce: certification of income, with a note on the register of considerations.

The configuration of e-commerce as mail order - and hence its classification in the retail trade - has reason to be there only if it refers to the so-called indirect electronic commerce, ie transactions carried out "on-line" only with regard to the preliminary stage of the order of goods and possibly also the related payment, but not with regard to the delivery to the home or place of business, to which delivery is taken in the traditional manner, through the shipper or express courier.
For this reason, with regard to VAT, the consideration for the sale of physical goods traded via the Internet must be certified on the basis of the requirements in the retail trade and in particular to those specifically related to mail order sales.
The sales in question are regulated by article 2, paragraph 1, letter oo, of the DPR December 21, 1996, 696, according to which the exemption is determined by the certification fees (neither invoice nor receipt) for persons who carry out the mail-order, limited to these transfers.
Specifically, there is no requirement for certification (invoice, receipt or receipt) of the operation for sales to private consumers of goods traded via the Internet, it is sufficient only for our regular annotation on the register of charges.
The lack of an obligation to issue a sales receipt formed by correspondence does not preclude, however, that the Internet retailer should be required to issue the invoice, if such a release is required by the customer. In this case, the invoice is due regardless of how small the payment may be, as a threshold below which the dealer may refuse to issue the invoice is not provided for.
Mail-order sales, even with simplified administration, still fall under the operations mentioned in Article .22 of the DPR 633/72, according to which the invoice should always be issued if it is requested by the customer.

    Jurisdiction and Competent court

The purchase contract is governed by Italian law. Any dispute concerning the interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Milan court.

We can not take responsibility if a gift voucher can not be delivered to the recipient's email address because of spam filters, firewalls, the recipient's e-mail box capacity or other factors beyond our control.
If you need a refund, this will be done in the same manner as the original payment method (such as a gift certificate, on the credit card / debit card account, or a combination of the two).
